Soothing in more than one way!

One of the various "Kindness Kits" for those facing difficult situations that we create at Dandelions WA is our "Newborn Kit". These are jam-packed inside the beautifully hand-made huge cloth bags that we are fortunate to receive from our kind and generous friends at Community Stitchers WA Inc. We fill the kits with everything needed for when bub first arrives including nappies, toiletries, breast pads, bibs, nappy sacks, blankets, muslin wraps, bottles, wipes, toiletries for bub as well as toiletries for "mum". The very generous donation via Good 360 of the quality soothers was very much appreciated. Not only will the baby be soothed along with the adults caring for them also will be able to enjoy some peace and quiet and our volunteers who join us on a Saturday morning at our "Kindness Kubby" to pack the beautiful kits are also soothed. There's nothing better than being among other like-minded, generous, kind, and thoughtful people on a Saturday morning with a common goal to bring some sense of purpose to their own lives as well as knowing that the recipients will feel loved and valued.
