NAIDOC Week Activity at Kings Park

The NAIDOC Week Activity at Kings Park, Merrylands, on September 27 served as a wonderful example of Toongabbie Seven Hills Lions giving back to the community.
The day showcased face painting and artifacts, along with Bring It On Sports, plus song and dance organized by Cumberland City Council.
Thanks to the partnerships of Good360, Lions played a vital role in assisting this fabulous event.
Lions Clubs pulled together on the day and handed out Koh products, Dettol Floor Wipes, Hygiene Packs plus books and other items free.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Good360 and its partners for their assistance in organizing these great items that were made available to assist the Indigenous community in the area.
A number of women who attended the event commented on the wonderful work the Lions are doing and greatly appreciate Good360's support.
The commitment to the community with Good360 has enabled Lions to help more.
A lady who had recently arrived in Australia and was passing through the park asked for assistance and a hygiene pack was immediately provided. She was so grateful and wished to pass on her thanks.
Another lady advised she was a new arrival to Australia and very much appreciated the Dettol floor wipes, as she was cleaning up her unit.
An Indigenous man asked for some large print books ... and yes, we had a few available to choose from.
Thank you Good360 and partners for all you do ... as we get these items out into the community where they are most needed.
