Defence Shed Port Adelaide provides comradery, hands-on activities, projects, social activities, and connections to professional services. We aim to support the good mental health and wellbeing of our members: Ex and Current Serving Veterans, First responders, and their families/carers, by promoting engagement with the community, and reducing social isolation through peer support and lived experience. Creating a safe environment to gain confidence and have a sense of purpose.
Most of our members have suffered injury from their service and rely on Veteran Support payments as they are unable to work.
The lives that are impacted are more than just our members, as they also impact close family members and the veteran community. Thank you so much Good360 for supporting us!
