We would like to take this opportunity to share with you the success of one of our most recent events, ‘Lasagne Lego Lunch – Denmark Day’.
Inala Community House was recently very lucky to receive a donation from the generous people at LEGO, facilitated by the hard-working team at Good360.
LEGO was invented in Demark so to get in the spirit, the members of our team decorated the centre with all things Danish, including Danish pastries which they enjoyed after their delicious lasagna lunch.
Some of the seniors who attended one of our neighborhood centres were engrossed in making some of the fantastic LEGO sets and were so excited and proud of their LEGO assembly skills. It was a great challenge for them, really testing their fine motor skills.
It was incredible to see all of the seniors coming together to enjoy each other's company and encourage each other as they worked to build their sets.
The smiles on their faces were enough to let us know that they had a lot of fun and it certainly won't be the last LEGO-focused event that we run for our seniors. They're well and truly hooked.
None of this would have been possible without the kind donation from LEGO and the ongoing support from Good360. We can't thank you enough.
