Thank you so much for your generous donation of LEGO to our school.
The students at Kanahooka High School are very grateful to have had LEGO donated to them. LEGO has taught our students to follow instructions from a manual and how to sort by size and colour to solve complex problems and keep their cool while facing problems.
The calming, relaxed, mindful aspect of LEGO has also been felt by students in our school, allowing students to create intricate constructions like Pirate Ships, Viking raids, and Giant Robots from what were seemingly just assorted LEGO Bricks moments ago.
The LEGO donation has given students some complex challenges, especially the more extensive sets with increasing pieces. Multiple students have used the Rolling Stones set as one of the sets to aspire to build.
Students at Kanahooka High School have also been learning about film techniques and stop-motion videos. The donated LEGO provides a unique opportunity for them to practice their filmmaking skills and create HSIE scenarios about Viking raids while building their teamwork skills.
Without your donation, none of these experiences would be possible.
