One of the Indigenous communities Capacity Plus serves in the Northern Territory is the Tiwi Islands. Our Baby FAST program supports young mums and other family members to make positive life choices and teaches key skills to help raise their babies healthily and positively.
We were able to distribute soothers and sippy cups to the children in our program - which when word got around more mums and kids came to the program!!
The children felt very special to receive their own cup as were the mums with soothers for their infants.
