Through our partnership with Good360, the school obtained a range of infant and children’s items including clothes, accessories, sandals, books, and toys. As a huge school project, led by our student leaders, we compiled these items into 50 BUTEiful Christmas gift boxes. We then worked with local businesses/organisations that had Christmas Trees for gift donations, to distribute these gifts to those families in need.
We know that Christmas can place a great deal of stress on families. We hope that this venture will help to lighten this load for families and help to spread some kindness and joy. We collaborated with 5 different organisations, including one in the Bute township to ensure that a number of these gifts were available to our community.
