Being a foster carer is an extremely difficult journey. Our foster carers are incredibly passionate, committed human beings who dedicate their lives to help the children who come into their home live the best life they possibly can.
Despite the dedication, the road they travel on with these children is a challenging one. For the most part, these kids come from traumatic backgrounds and often many have physiological differences. Many of the carers we see in our program have upwards of four or more children in their house that they are supporting.
Their days are busy with appointments and other commitments for the children and often finding time for themselves can be extremely challenging.
In our last donation of L'Oreal gift packs, Colgate toothpaste and Body Shop goodies we were able to put together beautiful pamper packs for our very deserving foster carers. They were over the moon to receive these very special packs with items not only for them but for the whole family.
