Optus staff initiative spreads Christmas cheer

Christmas is a season of giving and a time for family and friends. Unfortunately, for the vulnerable in our community, these simple pleasures can be challenging to come by. This year, at St. John's, we were fortunate to be connected with Optus, where their staff collected personal care items for distribution to charities.
We were privileged to receive an entire shopping trolley and a plastic crate filled with various personal care items. This incredible contribution has enabled us to assemble and distribute over 185 personal care packages. Specifically, 80 personal care packages were prepared for our Prince Alfred Park Christmas hampers, 70 for migrant families aiming to restart their lives, and 35 were distributed to refugee teens.
Our heartfelt thanks go to Good360 and all the Optus staff who generously donated. These contributions have made a significant difference for the less fortunate in our community and have spread some Christmas cheer.
