Lions were loading up boxes and boxes of LEGO to bring a little joy into young peoples lives.
One in 10 children in Australia have taken on caring for a family member with a disability. These adult responsibilities mean they often miss out on many of the joys of childhood that most children take for granted.
In February, Lions organised LEGO for various age groups which brings so much joy to young carers.
There are over 235,000 children and teenagers in Australia caring for a disabled or chronically ill family member. On average they spend 6 hours a week on caring duties.
Lions would like to thank Good360 and LEGO Australia for making this wonderful donation possible.
As one young person said, "I thank you so much for what you do".
