Finn and Addi are two ENDIA study participants who live in northern ACT just out of Canberra. They have been involved in the study since pregnancy because their Dad has type 1 diabetes. (See www.endia.org.au)
Unfortunately, the ENDIA Study does not have a hub in Canberra. Sometimes our dedicated nurses visit families in the ACT as a bit of a road trip from Sydney!
But sometimes our amazing families make the journey to our ENDIA sites. Today Finn and Addi's family drove to the Children's Hospital at Westmead to see Nurse Rose (pictured). It took them hours. And they did it all with a smile even providing their blood samples!
This hero effort deserves a box of LEGO don't you think?
We thank Good360 and LEGO Australia for their continued kind support
