Building friendships

At Dubbo North Public School we have 12 mainstream classes and 3 support classes. Teachers adjust their learning so that students with disabilities are catered for in mainstream classes, supported by School Learning Support Officers. Team building, resilience, instruction following and building friendships are all areas we have identified that need to be worked on and built upon by students at DNPS. The students worked in pairs to put their LEGO together and were delighted by the outcome. Even more so when they learned they got to take them home. This has made a real difference to our students and we are really hoping to build on this in the future.
We are immensely grateful for the generous donation from Good360 and LEGO. Thank you
