Toy Libraries Australia is the peak body for 280 toy libraries across Australia. Toy Libraries provide a wonderful service for the community removing barriers to children’s right to play by allowing families to borrow rather than buy toys. This provides children with access to a wide range of toys without making their parents spend hundreds of dollars on toys to keep up with their ever-changing development and interest along with preventing toys from ending up in landfill so quickly.
Late in April Toy Libraries Australia held our inaugural Queensland training day where 6 of our Toy Libraries were the lucky recipients of LEGO or Duplo sets to put into their catalogues. These sets will now be used by hundreds of families across Queensland for many years to come.
We are grateful for the generous donation from Good360 and LEGO Australia. Thank you!
