Women's Weekly - A heartfelt gift for Mothers Day :-)

What an exciting gift for the ladies in our HRPS school community!
Sometimes treating ourselves with simple things, like relaxing with a cuppa and reading a good woman’s magazine can be difficult to justify these days. Many parents seem to put their family first and neglect the small treats, that can help them to relax and unwind to face the day.
So WOW!! We brought out smiles and appreciative joy when we handed out 200 Women’s Weekly magazines last week at our Mother's Day Event.
In these busy stressful times, we all need to look after our mental health and well-being and Women’s Weekly certainly offers fun and interesting content while being a trailblazer in championing a wide variety of women’s issues.
Our teaching staff were given half of our order and most recognised this special Women’s Weekly magazine immediately with big smiles on their faces eager to research new recipes and read the interesting articles.
The other half was given to the mums and ladies in our community as we celebrated Mother's Day.
I overheard a mum explaining to a friend that this magazine helps empower women as well as offers great recipes and I must agree that it has significantly influenced food culture in Australia through the years.
Another told me that her elderly mother bought them when she was younger and couldn’t wait to take this copy home for her.
We all agree that it was such a lovely gift for our teachers and parents to enjoy over Mother's Day.
