Unleash their Inner NINJA

"Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting!!" It was so much fun at Hilltop Rd Public School on Ninja Dress-up Sports Fitness Day. We bought the LEGO Ninja Dress-up costumes for a class item to present at our School Assembly. Then COVID hit, and sadly, all assemblies were cancelled. However, we recently shared the costumes around our Infants classes for drama, imagination story-time, and physical fitness. One of the year 1 classes has been so excited about doing Ninja Sport in them. It's amazing to witness a new level of confidence flood over some students who were usually quite shy and reserved during sports. Wearing the Ninja costumes made some of them feel invincible with superpowers that helped them complete activities and actions much faster and stronger than normal sport fitness days. As they are so simple to velcro on, our Year 2 class used them for a dance activity. I wish I could say it was to the good old "Kung Fu Fighting" song, but alas, it was not. Kindergarten teachers are planning their Ninja activity for later this term and one kindergarten teacher is planning a drama activity. Sounds like fun!! I know it will bring smiles to many faces over the next few years. So a huge BIG thank you, Good360!
