The Tasmanian University Student Association (TUSA) supports the students of the University of Tasmania. TUSA runs a Food Hub program twice weekly to provide direct relief to students facing the challenges of the rising cost of living. In 2022, 42% of our students experienced food insecurity due to the increasing cost of living. Last year, TUSA's Food Hub had 3085 student attendees, with 92% reporting improved food security. Additionally, 92% expressed satisfaction with the Food Hub, and 99% would recommend it to other students. The Food Hub primarily provides food relief, but we also aim to provide other essential products to meet students' basic needs, such as Good360's Toothpaste.
Our students were very grateful to receive Toothpaste as part of their Food Hub experience in April. Our students and volunteers stated that "Food Hub provides them with much-needed support," and reported that "any essential items they have access to via Food Hub helps take pressure off them."
Thank you to Good360 and its partners for their generous donations.
