Laptop for DV Survivor

Neami National Safe and Secure Housing Program works with women and children who have experienced family and domestic violence. We support the women we work with to find and maintain safe and permanent housing. The women we work with have experienced having their power and choice taken away from them through abusive relationships. Finding ways to encourage our clients to take their voice back and make their own choices such as applying for housing, is an opportunity to empower them. One of our clients experiences financial hardship as a single Mum of 4 and is paying ongoing debt caused by the perpetrator.
Backpacks 4 Kids has supported my client with a reliable laptop to explore housing options so she and her 4 children can leave domestic violence crisis housing, and move into something stable, without fear of being put into homelessness.
