Bags to build brighter futures

The Frank Konecny Community Centre has identified a need in our community for durable backpacks to help our students on their education journeys and for our community who are experiencing homelessness or have no way to access transport and have to carry their food supplies to their homes after attending our crisis hamper support.
This amazing donation from Good360 has enabled the centre to provide our community with a way to overcome their barriers with dignity and respect.
The centre supports local homeschool classes to attend specialized tutoring at the centre to help reduce costs to families. Our story photo is of some of these wonderful children who received their very own backpacks to support them in achieving their education goals with the tools they need to reach their full potential. Dennis a local man who walks from 2 suburbs away to attend our crisis food service said when he was given a backpack "Last time I had food help my paper bag ripped on the sidewalk and I was on my hands and knees picking up my food and so having a backpack means more to me than you can understand".
