Christmas in Remote and Regional Aboriginal Communities

In regional and remote parts of Australia, where the bush and red earth stretched for kilometres and the skies feel as if they are burning the skin off your body, there was a small team of volunteers known as the "Dr Steve Burroughs Foundation" This group thanks to Good360 and Big W had a mission: to bring Christmas cheer to the remote Aboriginal communities.
DSBF see weekly the firsthand challenges the Aboriginal people face, especially during the festive season. Many could not afford the luxury of Christmas decorations, and the spirit of the holiday session. This makes the local Aboriginal people feel distant and unreachable. Determined to make a difference, DSBF rallied with Good360 and BigW and together, they distributed the Christmas items to various communities.
Loading the supplies into a convoy of small and large trailers, the DSBF volunteers set off on their journey to hand out the gifted items of Christmas job. The roads were rough and dusty, winding through the regional and remote communities, but their spirits remained high, fueled by the excitement of bringing joy to the children and families awaiting the Christmas cheer.
The community people gathered, young and old, to join in the handing out Christmas items. Elders shared the items giving instructions on distribution. The atmosphere buzzed with joy as the community departed carrying their Christmas packages.
Thank you Good360 and Big W for your generosity and support
