Teamwork, friendship and mental well-being! Thank you Good360!

There has been a remarkable change in the mood and collaborative learning of our students since we received the generous donations of LEGO. We have distributed the LEGO to every class for them to build and keep as a class resource. The excitement and positive energy cannot be fully captured in a photo, but the smiles on our students' faces say it all. Our students have been mentoring their younger peers, building friendships and partnerships with teachers and classmates, which has greatly improved the well-being of our school community. The lunchtime Year 5/6 LEGO Club in the Library has been very popular among our older students. They have been building more complex LEGO sets, working together in teams, and learning about perseverance. We have also shared LEGO with our special needs students, and the sense of achievement and perseverance it brings to them is invaluable. Our autistic and sensory students have been using the LEGO for calming and resetting, which prepares them for success upon returning to the classroom. Additionally, we have observed that several students with separation anxiety find comfort in 10 minutes of morning construction time, which helps them ease into the school day and boosted their attendance.
Thank you Good360 and LEGO for the invaluable donation
