Using LEGO to support students in developing social skills and emotional regulation is a powerful approach. Engaging in LEGO activities fosters collaboration and communication, as students often work together to build and create. This teamwork helps them practice sharing, negotiating, and problem-solving, essential components of social knowledge. Additionally, the focused, hands-on nature of LEGO building provides a calming effect, allowing students to manage their emotions more effectively. By integrating LEGO into our educational program, we create a dynamic environment where students can grow socially and emotionally, gaining the tools they need to succeed in and out of the classroom.
