Teamwork makes the dream work!

With the gift of LEGO from Good360 our whole school community has come together enhancing their skills in teamwork, resilience, empathy, collaboration and problem-solving. LEGO has created relationships between our older and younger students that they previously would not have had an opportunity to do so. We have buddied up older students with junior primary classes to mentor LEGO building lessons, providing our older students with invaluable confidence and leadership skills.
LEGO building has been invaluable in creating calm for our anxious and sensory students, setting up morning routines where these students can LEGO build for 15 minutes and then successfully start their day in class.
Each class is building their LEGO resources to independently provide all students access to this wonderful and creative tool. We have also shared LEGO with many of our families who are experiencing challenging times and the smiles this brings is a beautiful gift in itself.
