Making A Real Difference

Helping Hands Mission Inc. is a local not for profit that works to provide both emergency food aid and material aid to people in need. We operate two Community Pantries – one in Airport West and one in Sunshine – providing families with access to fresh fruit and veg, pantry staples, dairy and toiletries.
Demand for our services is higher than ever - we are currently supporting approx. 150 families each day through our Community Pantries and over 1200 visitors each day through our op shops.
When food insecurity is a very real issue, being able to make the most of what you have becomes critical! Being able to provide our clients with Gladwrap means they can store and stretch the food they do have. It's a luxury that many people don't buy when they are struggling to feed their families but it makes such a real difference. It's the first time we've been able to include Gladwrap in our Pantry boxes and our clients were thrilled.
