Bringing Joy to People at Our New Western Sydney Centre

Recently, The Salvation Army opened a new Hub at 216 Queen Street St Marys in response to local needs. The Hub houses 5 Salvation Army Community Support Services and one non-Salvation Army Service (Mental Health support), all working together to positively impact the poorest and most disadvantaged suburb in Penrith LGA.
A new Community Food Support Program has started at this location, providing essential food and household products to 600 low-income/Centrelink recipients every week. This support aims to help them cope with cost-of-living pressures and have more resources to support their families.
Thanks to the generosity of Good360 and its donors, the range and type of products available to those in need has significantly expanded. Recipients now have access to goods such as Nike Shoes, Nike clothing, LEGO, toys, and household products that are usually beyond their financial reach. The joy and gratitude expressed by recipients is immense as they receive items they never thought they could own.
