First new mattress ever!

This young person was homeless for a few years, moving and couch-surfing between the homes of family and friends until she had no place to stay and ended up sleeping on the streets. She received help from a youth emergency service, who supported her in achieving many goals. Eventually, she was able to rent a place with two of her friends. The picture shows her sitting on the mattress, visibly happy and grateful to have her own new mattress for the very first time. Throughout her childhood, she had always slept on dirty or stained mattresses that belonged to other people or were second-hand.
