A Heartwarming Story of Resilience and Generosity

We wish to share the inspiring story of Kay, a brave 5-year-old girl, and her mother Carem, who have faced significant challenges in their lives. Carem, a survivor of domestic violence, grapples with severe mental health issues, including anxiety, low self-esteem, and depression as a result of her traumatic past.
Find A Penny has had the privilege of welcoming Carem into our community, where she has been volunteering with us for the past year, dedicating three days a week to supporting our pantry team. Under her leadership, our pantry has never been more organized and clean, making a significant impact on the efficiency of our operations.
Despite their financial struggles, we recently had the opportunity to bless Kay with a new LEGO set, bringing joy and light into her life. The gratitude and happiness captured in the video and photos we have shared truly speak volumes about the profound impact of your generosity.
We are incredibly thankful to Good360 for their support, as their contributions have not only benefited Kay but will also continue to bring joy to many other children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Thank you once again for your kindness and compassion. Together, we are changing lives one meal, one word of hope at a time.
