Babana Aboriginal Men's Group is a not-for-profit organisation. Every day we try to empower our people to be all they can be
In recognition of the urgent need to support survivors of domestic violence (victims, perpetrators, friends and family), Babana hosted our first Domestic Violence Workshop, Friday 1st August 2024.
In collaborative groups, women and men from our community discussed the issues around domestic violence, shared experiences and support services. We wrapped the day up with a lovely lunch.
An overwhelming turnout!
A very constructive day.
All participants were offered a crisis and support services information sheet and goodies from our sponsors.
The goods shared with our community at this event predominantly benefited the elderly, children and domestic violence survivors and their families. Our hearts are filled with gratitude.
A BIG THANK YOU to Good360 and all its sponsors.
