Putting Bounce in the step of those that bring bounce to others

With the amazing donation of Nike women's footwear, we were able to support women in our community who are doing everything they can to help those dependent on them to have a roof over their heads and food in their bellies.
Let me introduce you to Carol, who has allowed us to share her story. Carol has selflessly taken her grandchildren in when they otherwise would not have a roof over their heads. Her only income is a pension, and with the rising cost of living and family health issues, she is struggling to afford food for her household. She comes to our centre to ensure she can feed her family. In the time she has attended, Carol has seen what our staff are trying to achieve and has selflessly donated her time to help us help others.
We have a group of socially isolated patrons who meet weekly, and Carol comes in to brighten their day. A classic example of this was Valentine's Day, where she handed out soap roses to participants, making them feel special and wanted on a day they often struggle with.
Carol said, "I could save up to $5 a fortnight, and it would have taken me over 2 years to be able to afford a brand new pair of designer shoes for myself, but let's be honest, I would have spent it on something the kids need." She also asked us to thank the team at Good360 and Nike for her new shoes and wanted to check if there was someone else who needed them more before taking them.
Thank you, Nike. This gift means the world to these women!
