Each year Community Gro Upper Ross and Garbutt Community Centres host Community Christmas parties where Community Members are invited to attend our Centre for a Roast Meal, activities and giveaways. In 2023 we had over 400 Community Members attend our Upper Ross event.
Through the Big W Castletown Christmas Giving Tree, we were able to provide over 100 Christmas presents to children who due to no fault of their own would not be receiving Christmas presents that year.
The presents were handed out to families doing it tough along with food hampers to ensure each family had food for Christmas day and at least 1 present to open under the tree.
