Maggie and her kittens

SA Cat Rescue is a not-for-profit organisation with bases in the Adelaide metro area and a regional base in Port Pirie. Through a network of foster carers and volunteers, we rescue stray, abandoned, and unwanted cats, keeping them safe, warm, and loved until they can find their forever homes.
This is Maggie and her family. Maggie was a local colony cat fed by a SA Cat rescue carer. When checking the cameras one day, the carer's daughter's eagle eye noticed Maggie's stomach move and realised she was quite pregnant. Maggie was able to be trapped a week before she gave birth to 4 beautiful kittens (Kestral, Duckie, Chickadee and Pidgeon). She has become such a lovely cuddly cat - so different to how she was when she came into care, she was incredibly scared of humans and in a poor condition. The assortment of Purina food sachets was wonderful to support her family and others like them.
SA Cat Rescue currently has approximately 200 cats and kittens in care that will benefit from this generous donation.
