A new start

SFP was contacted by a gentleman who had just been released from jail. He returned to his unit with $50 to his name, to find that squatters had broken into his unit and stolen all his possessions. Everything was gone, and he was distraught. We replaced most of his furniture. He then explained he was desperate to have a working phone, to organise documents for his coming court appearance. We gave him a new mobile phone and used one of the Optus 'Donate your Data' Packs to get him 12 months credit. He was very happy and was able to meet his bail conditions at his court appearance. He feels this has changed his luck, and will help him find the right path, and hopefully stay on it. The phone cards have been instrumental in making a difference in this man's life.
