Overwhelmed with Kindness: T-Shirt Donations

T-shirts bring hope. When choosing between buying milk and bread or a t-shirt, clothing gets put on hold. Some families are living with $20 per week to feed three people.
The expense of rent, fuel and living rurally with the added burden of floods had a massive impact on people in our community.
Imagine waking up to a flooded home, your belongings submerged and ruined. Sewerage coming up through your shower and toilet.
Everything you've worked for is gone. A simple t-shirt can feel like a lifeline. It's more than just clothing; it's a symbol of hope, a reminder that people care, providing comfort, warmth, and a sense of dignity, helping you to feel a little more human amidst the chaos.
Coomealla Health Aboriginal Corporation (CHAC) would like to thank Gildan and Good360 for their recent t-shirt donation. CHAC is a medical service that serves the Dareton, Buronga, Wentworth and surrounding areas around the Murray and Darling Rivers.
