Better care for Pets

During the floods in Moree / Gunnedah and Tamworth, it became obvious that many of our tenants had animals living outside with limited comfortable conditions. Some experienced wet and soggy grounds for some time and pet items were destroyed and needed to be tossed out. The Animal Welfare League came to Moree and assisted with support. The pet bedding we have received from Good360 has been a godsend. The already stretched budgets were limited due to the fact the town in Moree was divided and one side had the shopping area of Coles and Woolworths although they closed for a period and the other side had McDonald's and KFC and Service Stations available. I had multiple inquiries as to support for pets. They had no food and no available help to provide for them. The joy on tenants' faces when they received a dog bed and other products has been exceptional. It certainly helped them with the cost of living and helping family pets be comfortable and this assisted with their wellbeing.
