Women's Health Week & Hand Hygiene

Every year, we celebrate Women's Health Week with a special event in our Community Hub at Parramatta West Public School. We create a supportive environment where all women, especially those from refugee and migrant backgrounds, feel encouraged to prioritize their health and well-being. One of this years focus areas was the importance of Handwashing with soap and water which can prevent the spread of many infectious diseases, such as the flu, common cold, and gastrointestinal infections. By maintaining proper hand hygiene, individuals reduce their risk of getting and spreading these illnesses. Every year, we give all participants a wonderful goodie bag to take home and this year we were fortunate enough to receive Dettol Aloe Vera & Vitamin E Antibacterial Handwash. Providing these for free promotes hand hygiene helping build a community-wide culture of health and wellness, where individuals are more conscious of their role in preventing disease transmission and protecting others. Thank you Dettol and Good360 for your support in bettering our community!
