The products kindly donated by Big W Kwinana were distributed to those in need attending the centre's weekly food crisis hampers. These goods varied from kids getting a brand new Harry Potter T-shirt (in time for book week), to some of our socially isolated patrons getting an exercise DVD to help improve their mental health and fitness. Some toys will be given out at this year's Christmas hamper appeal and some Christmas-themed shirts will help bring cheer to those in need this Christmas.
One mother attending Crisis Hampers who has 4 Children in her care said:" My son has a birthday coming up and I try to have a small party in a park, so my kids won't miss out, with these new party decorations he will have something a bit more special for I could not afford to buy them when I need to keep a roof over our heads, It may not seem like much but I am so thankful to have this."

The Frank Konecny Community Centre is a not-for-profit organisation, incorporated association and a licensed charity that has serviced the community for 30 years. We are a Neighborhood Community Centre managed by a community board for the benefit of all.
