The Code 9 Foundation with St Vincent de Paul Society Supporting those in a time of need

The Code 9 Foundation provides a place of support for current & veteran professional first responders & 000 operators who live with PTSD, depression, anxiety and other mental health conditions that result from their service to the community.
This support is available both in the ‘virtual world’ as well as via organised Peer to Peer ‘Catch-up’ nights, Coffee meetups and other formal events.
The path through mental illness can be an isolating and lonely road. At Code 9 we reach out and teach one another that they are never alone in their respective journeys, and we protect, support and encourage one another to do what is necessary to recover.
Code 9 PTSD wants all professional first responders to know that You're Never Alone.
With the wonderful donation we received from Big W, we were also able to offer much-needed support to St Vincent de Paul Assistance Centre in Traralgon Victoria with a huge amount of personal care packages, underwear and clothes.
St Vincent de Paul provides support to people living in poverty or seeking assistance through more than 200 programs and services across the country.
From emergency housing and homelessness support to disaster recovery and general support like home visits and providing food, our help is delivered on a local level throughout our communities.
We are thankful to Good360 and BigW for their generous contribution
