LEGO Competition Fever Pitch

Cygnet Bricks is the first dedicated rural LEGO Club for children in Tasmania that is available to all youth regarding socio-economic status, education preferences or access to LEGO at home.
The group has steadily become a stable and consistent part of the community with young children running through the door at 3:15 pm. LEGO sets are built as complete sets, before being dismantled and added to a collection of mixed LEGOs that see the most amazing and inspiring creations made.
LEGO affords so many beneficial learning opportunities and regardless of the child's age or skill level - they are always developing. Most noted is the established peer relationships and teamwork that affords mental well-being and protectiveness.

For the first time ever Cygnet Bricks allowed Cygnet children the opportunity to partake in the statewide competition Brixhibition, breaking down social and financial barriers with access to LEGO, for 16 weeks kids have worked on their creations, before submitting them for entry and internal judging. The excitement was palpable and the pride inspiring.
One participant's creation will now go onto the State Competition - the first time this has happened for this cohort of youth.
We are so grateful to Good360 and LEGO Australia for their generous contribution to our program
