"Do we get a Christmas present, Mummy"

Melbourne Basket Brigade provides essential food hampers and brand-new toys to families who would otherwise have nothing at Christmas. Many families have to choose between putting food on their table and toys for their children. We don't want them to choose, we want them to feel loved, cared for and part of the community.
All our recipients are families doing it tough and therefore we cannot share photos of the recipients however we were fortunate enough to receive some feedback through social workers who nominated families to deliver an essential food hamper and toys for the children.
From a social worker:
"Lucy is a single mother of 6 children who has not been able to work due to ongoing critical illness. When the children received brand new toys wrapped up to open on Christmas, they couldn't believe it. They kept asking "Who are these toys for?" as they had never in their lives had presents wrapped especially to open on Christmas day. They were so excited to experience a real Christmas, and when they opened their gifts on Christmas day they were in disbelief that they were brand new and just for them - they had never received brand new toys before. Whilst they don't understand where any of these came from and why they received them, they will one day remember that they had not been forgotten by their community.
Thank you Good360 and its product donors for helping us make a profound impact on the lives of those in need.
