Harry Who?

Carevan Blacktown was fortunate to receive clothing donations from Big W Mittagong in July this year. We drove to Mittagong from Sydney to collect 8 mystery boxes from Big W. We didn't know what was inside the boxes until we received them, but we were pleasantly surprised to find lots of lovely new clothing, including a 'Harry Potter' range of clothing.
All donations we receive are given to our patrons, most of whom live in extreme poverty. New items bring joy and sparkle to their lives, as it's a rare treat for them to receive new clothing instead of hand-me-downs. The donated items were distributed over a few weeks at our popular clothing tables, and they were met with excitement. Our community supports us in various ways, including donating preloved clothing, so new items are truly cherished. One of our regular patrons, Darlene, was thrilled with her items. When asked if she was a fan of Harry Potter, Darlene said, "Harry who? No, I just never have new clothes - I can't afford them!" Our patrons love new things, and we are grateful to Big W and Good360 for making this possible.
