Connecting Lives: How SIM Cards Are Empowering Our Guests to Overcome Homelessness"

Thanks to the generosity of Good360 and Optus, we have been able to supply several guests experiencing primary homelessness (sleeping rough) with SIM cards that allow them to use their existing phones or purchase new phones in which to activate the SIMS.
These SIMs have been invaluable because they allow our clients to stay in contact with key government non-government services such as Community Corrections, Homes NSW, and community casework services.
Maintaining contact with these services is essential and a pathway to resolving homelessness, particularly if this contact can be maintained long-term as these SIMs allow. Additionally, the autonomy that this creates for service users gives them the confidence, flexibility, and agency to participate in the housing process.
