We are a Category 1 government preschool in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide. With a large cohort of children age 3-5 from diverse backgrounds that attend Kindergarten with us for 15 hours a week the year before starting school.
Big LEGO sets are not usually something we can prioritise for purchase in Kindy with our limited budgets we stick to the the sets that have a lot of the regular bricks. This amazing donation from LEGO through Good360 has allowed us the ability to introduce the children to a new experience for us at kindy. With all the exciting pieces and colours from these sets as well as techniques allowing moving parts it brought such joy and excitement to the educators', children's and families' faces when they saw them. We had built the sets first to allow the children to see how they look and to serve as a provocation for their imagination and saw some beautiful collaboration and cooperative play as a result. We are so grateful. A Big Giant Thank You to LEGO and Good360.
