It was humbling to host expectant mums, and families with babies & toddlers for a morning tea where participants could form support groups to help each other through these difficult years. Participants were overjoyed to be able to access pre-natal vitamins, vitamin D, baby and children clothing and shoes, for mums and dads there were skincare, haircare and accessory packs as well as a large amount of baby bedding, carry packs, nappy bags, bottles, sterilisers, dummies and everything baby. Our families were reduced to tears with the help they received- "after all the fires, floods and now the cost of living we thought no one cared"- how wrong they were. With ongoing assistance from each other and the school, these families will now keep in touch by coming to regular morning teas with their little ones.
