Lego fun within the classroom

As one of the high school teachers at Halinda School, I just wish to express how grateful we are for the provision of LEGO for our school students.
The sets have been wonderful for developing skills for the students in my Year 7 class.
Some of the benefits that the program has provided are:
1. Developing fine motor capacities;
2. Allowing students to express personal preferences and communicate choices by selecting from the Lego library;
3. Helping to develop student's literacy skills;
4. Allowing for practical development of STEM skills because the students have to follow the instruction guide to construct an item
5. Social skill development, because the students play with the sets with each other and also have to be able to share the items in a game situation
6. Respectful behaviour because the student's work is displayed and treated respectfully by other classroom members
LEGO has been a wonderful addition to our classroom learning activities and we are very grateful to Good360 and LEGO Australia for their generosity.
