Cody attends the Warilla Neighbourhood Centre Youth Program every Monday afternoon after school. This group is for children aged 8 to 12 years old, Cody is 10 and fits in very well. His dad mentioned that he also enjoys the Healthy Cities Youth program on Thursday afternoons, where he learns to cook and eat yummy, healthy food.
At the Warilla Neighbourhood Centre, Cody enjoys playing cricket, table tennis, pool, and Xbox with his friends. He lives with his dad, a single parent, who recently informed us about the awards Cody has been receiving from school for his excellent work in Maths. Cody was thrilled and loved his LEGO from Good360.
Nahlesha is also 10 years old, full of energy, and loves coming to the Warilla Neighbourhood Centre Youth Group, the Anglican Youth Group, and the Healthy Cities program, all based at the Neighbourhood Centre. When asked about her interests, Nahlesha mentioned that she enjoys art, touch footy, basketball, handball, and spending time with friends. She lives with her mum, a single parent, and has four other siblings. Her mum often visits the Centre to catch up with other parents for support and friendship while encouraging Nahlesha to interact with other young people and youth workers.
Her mum said that LEGO will be great for Nahlesha, as it helps improve her fine motor skills. Since Nahlesha has level 2 Autism, activities like LEGO keep her entertained indoors and benefit her well-being.
Thank you Good360 for your generous donation!
