Christmas Joy For Families

We are incredibly grateful to Good360 for their generous donation of LEGO, to add a touch of magic to the Christmas Hampers. The joy these gifts bring to families facing financial hardship, domestic and family violence, health challenges, and the rising pressures of daily living is immeasurable.
With the escalating cost of living, increasing incidents of family violence, and a severe lack of affordable housing, many families we support are forced to make impossible choices—between feeding their children or keeping a roof over their heads. Through our work with local schools, guidance officers have shared heartbreaking stories of children missing school due to transportation costs, with parents unable to afford the fuel to pick them up or even provide lunch. For these families, Christmas can amplify their struggles, as the pressure to provide special holiday moments weighs heavily against their most basic needs. The impact of unmet essential needs and the absence of festive treats and gifts take a toll on both their mental and physical health.
This donation from Good360 has truly brightened the holiday season for children who might otherwise go without, lifting a burden from parents and allowing them to see their child’s eyes light up with joy. The smiles on the children’s faces and the relief in the parents’ eyes say it all.
