The Ukrainian community in NSW celebrated the Heartbeats of Ukraine October Family Fest on Sunday 27 October 2024 at Steyne Park, Double Bay.
Close to a thousand displaced Ukrainians and community members gathered to say “Thank You” to Australia and celebrate Ukrainian culture. The festival featured live Ukrainian singing and dancing, traditional Ukrainian food, community members dressed in Vyshyvanka and blue and yellow, stalls with Ukrainian goods and souvenirs, sports and games for kids and teenagers, as well as other fun activities.
The boxes of kids' accessories received from Good360 were distributed as prizes to kids who successfully completed a scavenger hunt. Squeals of joy were heard all day as kids delightedly claimed their prizes.
Andrew Mencinsky, President of the Ukrainian Council of NSW, said “Thank You Good360 for bringing so much joy!"
