South West Aboriginal Medical Service (SWAMS) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation based in the South West of WA. SWAMS provide primary health care, health programs, mental health, maternal health, among other services, for our clients.
The students at the Djidi Djidi Aboriginal School enjoyed building some epic LEGO sets as a thank you gesture from us here at SWAMS. These LEGO sets were given as a reward for their involvement in the NAIDOC celebrations.
The Djidi Djidi Choir created a NAIDOC celebration song in local Noongar language, to share via Facebook and YouTube during the original NAIDOC week celebrations. The LEGO was also awarded as an Attendance Reward for students that had attended every day for the last two weeks.
