Good360 Partnership and Its Impact on Children – The Grin Kit

Karralika Programs Inc. provides essential residential and community-based alcohol and drug services in the ACT and NSW focusing on treatment and recovery from alcohol and drug use for individuals and families. Our residential Family Program in the ACT supports families, including singles and couples with children up to 12 years old. Through a therapeutic community model of care, residents are empowered to take responsibility for their recovery and that of their peers, fostering a nurturing and supportive environment that caters specifically for children's needs.
The healthcare needs of children in our programs are of significant importance and we have expert nursing staff on site as well as external specialist practitioners to ensure that those needs are effectively and efficiently met. Dental care is a priority for our children in the program and we have established long-standing relationships with external agencies to support parents with their children’s dental needs.
Our relationship with Good360 has allowed us to include a great gift pack for children to promote dental care within our program. The “Grin” kit sourced from Good360 has been distributed to all children in our program. Kits have also become part of our welcome-to-program families' pack. Feedback from parents has indicated that the children were excited to receive the kit and were eager to use it. The “Grin” kit helped to make teeth brushing time.
