At Warekila Preschool we have been thinking of ways to include girls more in STEM. Boys tend to gravitate to STEM learning experiences. With the LEGO we received from Good360, we were able to engage girls more with STEM. All the children were really excited to open the LEGO and the girls loved seeing girl minifigures. The children followed instructions, sorted pieces and practiced problem-solving. Working together on these builds helped them forge new friendships and develop teamwork skills.
