Pampering for Myth Creators

CuriousWorks uses the arts to celebrate Australia’s cultural diversity and give a voice to communities wanting to tell their untold stories.

Our latest film project 'Myth' - www.curiousworks.com.au/project/myth - involved collaborating with the Yirrkala Aboriginal community in remote Arnhem Land.
This road trip love tale, from Western Sydney to Yirrkala, connects past, present and future Aboriginal stories, and will give them a global audience as part of a world tour of large-scale projection artworks being organised by New York’s Streaming Museum.

We wanted to thank the women of the Yirrkala community for their collaboration and hospitality during a recent week of shooting, and Good360 came to the rescue of our impoverished, not-for-profit arts company budget. By providing some beautiful body products donated by Lush, we were able to offer some physical-pampering gratitude for how they had enhanced our minds and souls.

Certainly, it wasn’t the most important thing exchanged and it won’t be the last as our relationship with this community continues − just a small gesture of friendship from appreciative guests.
